Colleen "Kelly" Cornacchini has owned and operated Rapunzels since its opening in 1987. With more than 30 years of experience in this field, Kelly can master any style you are trying to achieve! She specializes in color and ensures all of the salon's clients leave happy with the services they received.
Kelly has always had a GIANT heart that will leave you smiling through your entire experience here.
Kelly has a undying passion for fresh food, cooking and a good wine! Her talent doesn't stop at just hair, most furniture pieces throughout the salon are redone by Kelly. She has an amazing artistic eye!

After watching her mom, and growing up here at Rapunzels, Amelia became partners with Kelly in early 2020! Her passion for the hair industry and bringing out the beauty in her clients pushes her to grow as a stylist, owner, and educator! Amelia graduated The Orlo School of Cosmetology in Albany NY in 2013. She has a special interest in custom color and balayage! She has completed The L'Oreal Expert Program and The Redken Cut and Know Why intensive four day education program in NYC. She has always stayed on top of hair trends and the latest education classes.
Amelia's bright personality and artistic side also shines through her love of music! You will always find her outside, with muddy hands in the garden on her days off!
Amy
Stylist
Amy started with Rapunzels right out of school and has been practicing since 1997. She has developed many of her own unique techniques. Her passion shines through with her amazing Amino Fusion Treatments, new style changes, and the relationships she builds with her clientele.
Amy's confidence within herself radiates onto every one of her clients, and her love for her career shines bright through every aspect in her life.
Amy takes pride in the relationship she has with her family and community.
Marcy
Stylist
Marcy has been doing hair for 16 years and has trained under Kelly right out of cosmetology school in 2001! Marcy's chic style will show through any service she does, adding a unique feel to all her colors. She also specializes in men's cuts and gorgeous up-styles.
Marcy's love for the outdoors and ability to take a step back to breathe, creates a calm and comforting environment for everyone around her! Don't let that fool you though, she loves to let her hair down and turn the music up LOUD!
Kayley
Stylist
Kayley graduated from Hair On Hudson Academy right here in Poughkeepsie! She has been trained under Rapunzels right after school and has been with us for over 2 years.
With her beautiful curly hair, she truly understands and can tame any unruly locks! Kayley is called our curl queen, and also specializes in custom color and balayage appointments. Her love for animals and country music shines through her bright personality and all her services with her clients!
